PRESS RELEASE (8th April 2008)
Individuality -
Courtesy of the Love Your Home Show 2008
A different kind of home and lifestyle show that champions local and regional artisans
If you want to inject a little bit of individuality - put a little extra love - into your home then there's no better place to be over the weekend of 19 and 20 April than the Love Your Home Show at Sandown Park, Esher in Surrey.
You'll see products that you won't see on the high street - or in your neighbour's house! Browse through a wide range of diverse individualistic, bespoke, retro, sustainable and one-off products and services. You'll find companies like Clarrisa Hulse of Echo Interiors, a highly acclaimed British textile designer as well as Tamara Fogle, producer of hand made vintage leather handbags or Vintage Green, who offer restored period interior accessories. Or to fire your imagination visit Cola Red for a fantastic range of classic 50s retro diner style furniture. There are over 100 stands bursting with innovative products, so you won't be short of ideas of how to make your home different, to give it that certain something, that je ne sais quoi.
As organiser Colin Tunnicliffe says, "It's really internet shopping brought to life - except you only have to open one window! That's what makes Love Your Home so different from every other home and lifestyle show. It's been born out of my passion to source interesting and unique items for the home that you do not normally see at exhibitions and are not available on the high street. At Love Your Home they are all under one roof, and you'll be able to browse to your heart's content and find something that's intrinsically for you and every aspect of your home and garden.
British Showcase
Make sure you don't miss the Best of British feature, a showcase for products entirely designed and manufactured in the UK. A true celebration of British design that includes designer maker Poppy Treffry with her unique British textile accessories and creations, and London based design company MFV53 showing their hand made eco friendly, antique and vintage linen cushions.
Feed four for £10 demonstration
Watch cookery demonstrations by renowned chef, William Hunter, who will show you how to create spectacular dishes and will use products available from fellow exhibitors. His "How to feed four people a three course meal for under £10 is a must see!"
